Nothing says love like… Warm Cheese
Written and performed by Teresa L. Thome and Directed by Stan Zimmerman, Warm Cheese is an intimate and comedic exploration of a woman wanting to no longer hate her dead mother. The night of her mother’s funeral as the family all gathers, a daughter learns more about her mother than she ever expected or wanted.
Of her recent performance at Hollywood Fringe Festival, Michael Van Duzer of ShowMag.com says:
Thome’s writing is clear-eyed, wryly humorous, and filled with specific details and color from her Michigan upbringing. But the story is universal and will resonate with audiences blessed with less prickly mothers than Imelda.
